You’d rather have a few quality followers engaged and interested in what you have to say instead of high numbers of unqualified followers who are uninterested in your brand.  

Guide Your Customers to Where You Want Them to Go 

A term you may not be familiar with is a call-to-action.  A call-to-action is a strategic way to lead your customers towards what you want them to do. Not all call-to-actions have to be a “buy our product now” situation. You can ask your followers to click through your website, leave a comment to start more conversations under your posts, claim offers through social media, and so on. Whatever your goals are with social media, you can lead your followers to help you with those goals with call-to-actions. 

Defining your social media success is crucial in any marketing strategy. While every business should be taking advantage of social media’s massive reach, no two companies will have the same results and should not have the same strategies.
